Pink Motion Lamps
Pink is the most requested colour in the category, and it is also the most confusing one to shop for, because a lamp can be pink in three different places.
Pink wax, pink liquid, or pink base
Pink wax is the flowing part. The blobs themselves are pink, and the surrounding liquid is clear or tinted in a contrasting colour. This gives you the strongest pink when the lamp is running and a mostly clear globe when it is off.
Pink liquid is the reverse. The liquid is tinted pink, and the wax moving through it is a different colour, often white, purple, or clear. The globe reads pink whether the lamp is on or off.
A pink base is the metalwork, usually a rose gold or painted pink finish, paired with wax and liquid in any combination.
Check which one a listing means before you order, because the three look very different in a room.
